           Paul R. Coate is a Twin Cities based stage, film, and voiceover actor. He lives in Bloomington, MN with his awesome and talented wife Kathleen and their two beautiful children. His most recent professional experience includes work in musical theatre, contemporary plays, Shakespeare, and opera. In his spare time, Paul likes to play basketball, go hiking, and officiate weddings for friends who ask.

FILM



       Paul's first experience with film was as an uncredited extra in TO WONG FOO, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, JULIE NEWMAR. Since then, Paul has appeared as 'DaVinci's Apprentice' in Mannheim Steamroller's 'Fresh Aire 8" DVD, and most recently as 'Philip Hall' the newly released film APRIL SHOWERS starring Tom Arnold, Illeana Douglas, and Daryl Sabara!

       Paul has appeared in a variety of commercials and industrials as a film and voice-over actor for such corporations and organizations as Gallup, Nebraska Furniture Mart, the Omaha World-Herald, the Nebraska Lottery, Alegent Health, Sedexho Marriott, The University of Nebraska, Alkar Billiards, Performance Ford, La Mesa Mexican Restaurant, Kiewit Construction, and more.
